In 2009, I founded LOOM Films to facilitate production of my first feature-length documentary, “Dear Chelsey“. The process was invigorating and challenging – my wife would tell you (and I agree) that for the better part of 18 months, she was a single parent to two young kids. But in the end the film was selected for a number of festivals and won a few, too.
At that time, I also worked for a large, international children’s charity. A team of six of us worked with over 300 radio stations to raise nearly a half-billion dollars for 170 children’s hospitals during my 10 year stint. In November of 2013, I left that organization to devote my full attention to LOOM Films.
One mission of LOOM Films is to bring valuable storytelling tools and to charities, allowing them to show to work they do in the communities they serve and how they help people. I’m always looking for organizations that would benefit from what I can do for them.
If you are associated with a charity that you think I could help, give me some information and I’ll take a look.
