Strides Across Texas: A Different Speed of Life is a documentary currently in production that reveals how the life of Kevin Kline, a self-centered morning radio host, was changed by a 15 year old girl with cancer. His commitment to run a marathon in honor of her in 2006 has evolved into a challenging 13 day, 482 mile run through Texas beginning in Dallas on December 20, 2009 and ending at Texas Children’s Hospital on January 1, 2010 with a goal of raising $500,000 for pediatric cancer research.
Strides Across Texas is an event of Snowdrop Foundation, a Houston-based 501(c)(3) that is dedicated to assisting patients and families at Texas Children’s Cancer Center through funding for continued research to eliminate childhood cancer and scholarships for college bound pediatric cancer patients and survivors.
